Labor Day Retreat
September 2-4, 2000
The
United Holy Land Fund and The
Arab-American Cultural & Community Center
(ACC) will be sponsoring a Labor Day Retreat in Houston, Texas on September
2-4, 2000.
Activities include:
Showing Camp Palestine 2000 Videos
Group Discussions
Swimming
Dabka Lessons
Horseback Riding
Sports
Relays
DJ PARTIES
and much more
There
will be lots of fun and a wonderful opportunity to reunite with one another, and
of course meet new people.
There
are few requirements and restrictions, which are as follow:
Minimum
age requirement is 10 year of age - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Sleeping
arrangements will be at the Holiday Inn near the camp. $50
registration fee is required per child for these accommodations.
No one will be allowed to stay at the camp if he/she is not
volunteering for the camp, or in attendance as a camper.
This includes parents, younger siblings, cousins, etc.
All
campers not living in Houston are required to stay at the hotel.
No one will be allowed to leave the hotel over night.
For
those that do live in Houston, it is STRONGLY recommended that they too stay
at hotel.
Activities
have been planned in full for Saturday, Sunday and Monday until 1:00 pm. The
program will begin Saturday, September 2 at 9:00 am. Those who are not in
attendance at 9:00 am on Saturday will not be able to register and attend the
retreat. Reservations are limited and therefore confirmation for all in
attendance is needed by August 30. If there are any questions or concerns,
